Fusalp is 70 years old. 70 years of technicality and elegance, 70 years of innovations that have revolutionized skiwear, 70 years of performance at the service of the greatest alpine ski champions and enthusiasts of the discipline.
For 70 years, Fusalp has been the embodiment of French elegance, driven by constant research into innovation, mastered technicality and daring style, and stimulated by a passion for movement.
This great human adventure, born on the shores of Lake Annecy in 1952 at the initiative of two visionary tailors, is marked by victories with international repercussions carried by the greatest champions in the history of French alpine skiing, craftsmen with innovative know-how and emblematic ambassadors. In 2014, the history of Fusalp took a decisive turn, with the arrival of a new management team eager to carry this national heritage with optimism and commitment, in order to perpetuate this sporting and entrepreneurial saga.
Mohamed El Khatib, a man of the theater and friend of the brand, tells us the story of Fusalp, a pioneer brand in the creation of luxury skiwear and an icon of French sport-chic style, through the pages of a book featuring encounters, unpublished testimonies and the brand's archives.

- About the Author
Author and director, Mohamed El Khatib develops unique documentary fiction projects in the field of theater, literature and cinema. Through intimate epics, he co-signs plays based on encounters with soccer fans, cleaning ladies or actors. In “Boule à neige”, he dissects the life of snowball collectors, alongside the historian Patrick Boucheron. Grand Prix of dramatic literature and awarded by the French Academy in 2019, he has opened a way to the writing of reality.
- About the Photographer
The photographic report of this book was realized by Yohanne Lamoulère. Born in Nîmes in 1980 and a graduate of the École nationale supérieure de la photographie d'Arles, she lives and works in Marseille. In 2018, she published Faux Bourgs at Le Bec en l'air, a compilation of her work on the city of Marseille. She is also part of the Zirlib collective with director Mohamed El Khatib. In 2021, Yohanne Lamoulère created the image trail "L'Île" at the MUCEM in Marseille, a photographic series produced
