HISTORY

The Fusalp Maison was founded in 1952, on the shores of Annecy Lake,

by two tailors, Georges Ribola and René Veyrat.

THE PIONEERS
OF THE ALPINE FUSEAU

Tired of designing conventional academic attire for men and driven by their passion for skiing, the founders, who were avid skiers themselves, embraced the challenge of crafting a distinctive piece: the fuseau—a specialised ski trouser.

IN THE SERVICE OF COMPETITION

Their numerous technical innovations caught the attention of the French Ski Federation, prompting them to collaborate in outfitting the French teams and elevating the performance in downhill skiing.

It was during the 1966 Olympic Games in Portillo, Chile, that the two tailors from Savoie pioneered the creation of the first competition ski suit.

"NOT ONLY DID WE MAKE AN IMPRESSION AT THE OPENING CEREMONY, BUT THE SUIT WAS ALSO A SENSATION.”

Marielle Goitschel,

Alpine Skiing champion with 24 gold medals.

CONSECRATED BY CHAMPIONS

A collaboration with champions driven by shared values of excellence, performance, and elegance. A connection that Fusalp continues to this day, reaffirming its commitment at the highest level of international competition, as the official partner of the GB Team.

LOOKING TOWARDS THE FUTURE

Resolutely focused on the future, Fusalp brings its spirit of innovation to life, celebrating its origins well beyond the slopes. Fusalp has established a true 'fashion tech' luxury positioning that resonates beyond the ski slopes.

The evolution towards a lifestyle brand implies a proposal that pushes the boundaries of fashion and functionality, consistently reflecting smart clothing that offers style, technicality, and confidence in the face of the challenges of the world. The goal is to enhance and celebrate the beauty of the body in motion – ensuring not only performance but also style.
