Fusalp products are the results of years of research and development. To keep your garments looking their best for years to come, we recommend carefully following the instructions on the care label sewn inside each Fusalp piece.
THE GUIDES
Choose among the following guides the one you wish to read:

Always read the care instructions label for exact instructions.
Your ski jacket can be cleaned using your machine wash :
- Prior to washing, close all velcro straps, snaps and zippers.
- Wash the garment by itself.
- Choose a quick wash cycle (30 minutes).
- Use a liquid detergent, without fabric softener or bleach, and pour the correct amount of the cleaner according to the garment weight into the detergent compartment.
Washing instructions:Use cold water, maximum 30°C.
- Spin-dry Maximum 900 rpm.
Useful tip:
If your garment features contrasting colors, use an anti-discoloration wipe. Example: Black and white, red and white.
Be careful not to leave your garment in the washing machine for too long after the end of the cycle.
Drying
Always read the care instructions label of your jacket for exact drying instructions: tumble drying or air drying.
If tumble drying is suitable:
- Choose the low or medium heat setting (60°C maximum.)
- For puffy jacket such as down/synthetic down-insulated jacket, use a very low heat setting on your dryer and throw in three clean tennis balls to help break up wet clumps.
If air drying is suitable, then hang your jacket to dry.
- We recommend hanging it away from direct sunlight or a direct heat source to prevent discoloration and ensure durability.
Reviving water repellancy
Read and follow the care instructions label.
Tumble drying: If the care label allows tumble drying your garment, then we recommend using it to re-waterproof your jacket.
Air drying: Iron your garment with the heat setting on maximum 110°C. Set the iron on no steam and use a thin towel or cloth between the garment and the iron.
Useful tip:
Make sure your garment is completely and thoroughly dry before storing it.

We recommend the use of a detergent designed specifically for woolens.

Choose the « wool », « delicate », or « hand-wash » cycle on the machine, replicating a gentle wash.
Washing instructions:
- Use cold water, maximum 30°C.
- Spin-dry at low speed only. Maximum 500 rpm.
Hand wash
Follow the instructions below :

- Swish it around to allow the soap to penetrate the fibers.
- Do not rub the fabric together.
- Let it soak for no longer than 15 minutes.

Useful tip: Adding a few drops distilled vinegar in your last rinse water will prevent pilling, eliminate odors, and leave your clothes fluffy and soft.
