NATACHA

"I've had this jacket for over 30 years now. After my mother died, I couldn't bring myself to part with it" - Natacha
Natacha's story takes us back to the early 90s, to a young family on the eve of their first ski holiday. At the time, the family decided to buy their ski equipment second-hand. Brocante after brocante, a Fusalp jacket became a treasure trove. Natacha's mum was won over by the salesman's passionate account of his past as an exceptional sportsman who swore by Fusalp for his equipment.

THE JACKET WITH MULTIPLE LIVES

"One of my fondest memories is of seeing my mum, so proud in her jacket, being approached by tourists at the Super Sauze ski resort, who thought she was a ski instructor! She was so flattered." - Natacha
This is the story of a jacket with many lives, first worn by a seasoned athlete, then by a ski beginner, before being passed on within the family, and now ready to take its place again at Fusalp.

Léo Lacroix

Conqueror of the mountains

"I turned to Fusalp because of their excellent reputation, as they were part of a group of manufacturers who joined forces in 1960" - Léo Lacroix, Olympic downhill silver medallist.
It was in the 1960s that Léo Lacroix helped France shine, winning Olympic and World Cup silver medals. A passionate skier and champion in his category, he was dressed by Fusalp during his competitions, proudly wearing an electric blue suit, a symbol of daring and determination.

"Those ski suits made us look great, we looked like we were going to the moon’ - Léo Lacroix, Olympic vice-champion
Léo Lacroix played an important role in the growth of skiing in France, helping to popularise the sport at a time when French ski resorts were developing. His collaboration with Fusalp also left its mark on the history of ski fashion and equipment. Now an ambassador for modern ski culture, he remains a close friend of the brand.

PATRICIA

"I have many memories of a sporting winter holiday in the Vercors in 1994. I remember my mother, Patricia, wearing her Fusalp jacket, the heart of her holiday wardrobe". - Sylvia
Sylvia, Patricia's daughter and heir to the Fusalp jacket, tells us about her annual family reunion in the mountains. She particularly remembers an episode when heavy snowfall buried the house numbers, forcing the family to clear the snow from all the chalets to find their own. This moment, imbued with a certain magic, evokes the timeless beauty of the Alpine landscapes.

MEMORIES OF SNOWY ESCAPES

Patricia's jacket is a family heritage, passed down from generation to generation. It's a testament to the beauty of every winter and illustrates Fusalp's commitment to quality technical pieces, while appealing to skiers of all abilities.
As always, there was plenty of laughter and memorable falls - that's all part of the fun. We enjoyed happy aperitifs almost every evening and savoured a gastronomic variety of cheeses, from tartiflette to raclette to fondue - an unforgettable culinary journey.
