MARIA SKI SUIT
The MARIA suit has a bold, sport-chic style, infused with a very 70s spirit. MARIA is made of Schoeller© softshell laminated with fleece, and benefits from Therma technology. The MARIA ski suit is made of Schoeller© softshell laminated with fleece, and benefits from Therma technology. The use of Schoeller© technical material, a world reference in terms of advanced technology, high performance and resistance in the manufacture of high-quality fabrics, guarantees optimal warmth. The 4-way stretch feature adds stretch to the main fabric of the garment, providing maximum ease and comfort for the skier.
MARIA, a reference to the first technical ski suit created by Fusalp for the 1966 Alpine World Ski Championships (Portillo), is animated by Fusalp's aesthetic codes: structuring material for a slim silhouette, 'Fusalp' elastic bands along the sleeves and legs, yoke at the bottom of the back to emphasize the curve of the body, large YKK injected zipper on the front of the garment. Not forgetting detailing such as thumbhole sleeves, ski-pass pocket and zipped wrist openings.
We love the 'Fusalp' elastic band, a very tailored detail.

Therma Technology is a thermoregulation process which maintains maximum warmth while eliminating perspiration to the outside. The therma material has a scraped interior that provides more or less heat depending on the weight of the materials.
Softshell refers to an extensible, membraned, water-repellent, laminated fabric made of brushed fleece on the inside to provide warmth. The use of softshell material makes it possible to create comfortable high-tech garments that meet the objectives of wind resistance, breathability, warmth and impermeability.
SCHOELLER® is one of the best makers of high-tech fabrics in the world. Its fabrics are intended for active sport, for outdoor activities, for fashion as well as for work, all while respecting the environment. At the cutting edge of technology, Schoeller offers a range of laminated (woven) fabrics with 2 or 3 layers using highly resistant and top-quality thread. FUSALP has therefore always used Schoeller fabrics in its collections for its line of ski trousers. The membraned material is breathable, humidity-resistant, stain-resistant, UV resistant, waterproof, wind-resistant and impermeable.
4-WAY STRETCH FABRIC
The Stretch Technology adds extensibility to the main clothing fabric thus offering maximum ease and comfort to the user. Stretch is obtained either by using elastane thread, or by a specific weaving process. This dual-stretch fabric provides multidirectional extensibility.
This technology prevents the outside air from reaching the interior. Even when the wind is blowing and the temperature is chilly, you will remain at a pleasant temperature. This protection/ breathability combination reduces the wind-chill effect.
Ability of the fabric to breathe, i. e. to release water vapour to the outside of the product. Breathability refers to the capacity of a fabric to wick away water vapour and limits excesses of heat during physical activity. It is measured in Evaporative Thermal Resistance (ETR) or in gr/m2/24H.
