Cold, damp and wind are all weather conditions that you need to protect yourself from in order to fully enjoy long, beautiful days skiing on the snowy slopes. Discover our selection of technical jackets for men, which are insulating and protective, and will become your best allies for facing the autumn and winter cold. These technical jackets, also known as baselayers, are worn over a technical T-shirt or merino wool jumper and under your ski jacket.

Features of men's technical midlayer ski jackets

Fusalp's lightweight technical ski jackets for men are made from two materials, combining a thin, lightweight quilted fabric (matte or shiny) with a neoprene-effect material or stretch softshell fabric that is water-repellent and windproof, ideal for hiking, skiing or simply wearing in the city for extra warmth in winter.

The fabric, quilted horizontally in a nod to Fusalp's iconic graphic codes, is filled with TK Dupont Sorona® wadding, whose structure offers high thermal properties and great breathability. Their fitted cut allows them to be worn close to the body, thus preventing any heat loss. We recommend choosing your usual size. This lightweight technical jacket offers some particularly appealing features.

Water repellency

Water repellency is a treatment applied to fabric that makes it waterproof to a certain extent, so that no water droplets penetrate or are absorbed by the material.

Stretch fabric

tretch technology makes the main fabric of the garment stretchy, offering the wearer comfort and ease of movement.

Insulation padding

The padding in the quilted section of Fusalp technical jackets is made from TK Dupont Sorona® wadding, a high-quality wadding that not only provides insulation but also excellent thermal performance.

Fitted technical jacket styles

Fusalp offers a selection of technical jackets for men. The collar is straight and slightly raised, the cut is fitted to be worn close to the body to retain heat, and there is a zip fastening at the front of the garment, which also has two zipped hand pockets. The models are available in different sizes and colours: navy blue with a satin effect and the brand's heritage logo or the GB Team logo, black, matte army khaki, electric blue flag, and racing red.

The designs showcase a resolutely modern style and minimalist graphics, embodying the brand's chic sportswear aesthetic. Wearing the technical jacket thanks to layering Layering technical clothing is the key to staying warm and not being bothered by moisture caused by exertion.

With this in mind, Fusalp offers a technical wardrobe made up of modular outdoor pieces that can be layered. These pieces, also known as midlayers, are made from high-performance technical fabric that provides thermal support, heat distribution and insulation. The Fusalp technical jacket for men is worn over what is known in the jargon as the first layer. The undershirts you wear next to your skin, paired with leggings, fulfil this function. These close-fitting garments are worn as close to the body as possible and provide effective protection against the lowest temperatures.

According to the layering technique, which consists of wearing multiple layers of clothing to adapt to different activities and environments throughout the day, we recommend pairing this base layer with a technical ski jacket, also known as a second layer or light jacket. We also invite you to discover our collection of men's ski outfits and browse the men's ski jacket collection to complete your wardrobe.
